THE BIG BENCH BOOK is every single thing I would tell my younger self if I could go back in time and speed up my progression to becoming a 400+lbs bench presser. As someone who was naturally awful at it, it took me 2 years of training to simply max out 135lbs. This led to me becoming obsessed with learning everything there is to know about building a strong press over the years, on top of being coached and learning first hand from a 3X IPF World Champion.
I used that knowledge to take this book beyond what works for me and broke down every possible scenario there is. From the lucky bencher with short arms and a powerful press who simply wants to press even more weight, to the long-armed lifter who has to travel the extra distance with every rep, right down to the lifter who is simply stuck at a certain weight and hasn't been able to get past it. This book is NOT a training program, so you can apply it to whatever system you are already training under. I feel as though this book gets into the finer details most lifters miss when it comes to building a strong bench press.
